Broad Norfolk Designs is a clothing and gift company based on the local Norfolk dialect (often referred to as speaking Broad Norfolk).

The designs are inspired by some of the unique, quirky and downright bizarre words that have existed in our local dialect for hundreds of years.

My Norfolk family roots go back as far as we can trace (17th century!) and my fondness for our local dialect was firmly instilled in me by my late grandfather. It is important to me that my own young daughter appreciates her local heritage and it is from this, the initial idea for a baby range based on Bishy barney bee came about.

I am very keen to support our local economy - all of the design artwork is produced in house and is then brought to life on our clothing and ceramics by Norwich Screen Art and Norfolk China Ltd.
